Subway: 4, D, B trains to 161st - Yankee Stadium.
4 - Lexington Avenue Express (East Side) Runs there 24/7. Makes local stops on Lexington Avenue from 12:30 AM to 5:30 AM. Connects with the 2 and 5 trains at 149th Street, the 6 train at 125th Street, the N and R trains at 59th Street (along with the L, Q, and W at 14th Street - Union Square), the 7 train at Grand Central - 42nd Street, the J and Z trains at Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall, and the A/C trains at Fulton Street.
D - 6th Avenue Express (West Side) Runs there at all times during game days, and when the Yankees are away, at all times except peak rush hour periods in the peak direction (skips towards Manhattan AM, skips towards the Bronx PM), when B service runs local replacing it. Both B and D trains stop at Yankee Stadium during Yankee games during the week, and additional D service runs on the weekends. The B and D trains connect with the A and C trains at 125th Street, and 59th Street, the 1 train at 59th Street - Columbus Circle, the E at 7th Avenue - 53rd Street, the F and M trains at 47th Street - Rockefeller Center, and the N, Q, R and W trains at 34th Street - Herald Square.

Metro North Railroad: Hudson Line to Yankees - E. 153rd Street (regular service is hourly at that station every day, year-round).
However, during game days, additional shuttle trains run from Grand Central to Yankees - 153rd Street. Also some trains from the Harlem and New Haven lines stop there before the game, and up to an hour leaving from the game. For more information on Metro North service to Yankee Stadium, click here.
Bus: Bx6 Local, Bx6 SBS, Bx13 to 161st Street - River Avenue. Bx1, Bx2, BxM4 Express (Northbound) to 161st Street - Grand Concourse (three blocks east, up the hill).
